I am a mom of boy-girl twins and an older singleton. Birthdays are a big deal around our house to begin with, and this was of course magnified with the arrival of the twins. I was so disappointed when their first birthday came and I couldn’t find any nice Invitations or Thank You Cards to send out which addressed the “specialness” of twins. The wording on regular invitations was all wrong: I didn’t need “I”, I needed “We”! And TWO lines for names please! Equally frustrating was the lack of cards to give a sweet little three and a half year old who suddenly had to share everything in her whole world with not one, but two siblings. There was nothing to offer her to let her know she was still just as special as her new brother and sister.

So I went to the arts and crafts store and made my own. Not what a mom of one year old twins has time to do, but there was just so little choice! The idea for Two by Two and More! was born.

As this business grows, we hope to add more variety to the Birthday Invitations, Christening Invitations, and Thank You cards, and plan on providing coordinated party decorations as well. In addition, we intend on adding a selection of cards, items and hopefully ideas to help the older child or children know how special they still are.

Enjoy them while they are young, take lots of pictures and when you hit a rough spot, remember this bit of wisdom that was passed on to me. Before you know it, they will be busy running away from you and into their own lives, and you will long for just one more day to hold them in your arms and rock them to sleep one last time.
